Absolutely. I did a study in college on the effects women's magazines have on women, and in my research found that after just 30 second of looking through a magazine, most women felt more depressed with themselves. Its a constant battle to remember that what you see in a mag is airbrushed and fake. You're real, and real is always more attractive.

No, I don't. Why should you? Magazines are about other people, mostly mainstream stuff that will make the publisher money. If you feel you have to follow what's popular then you're not being yourself. Just be you, then you're original and unique.

Even though I'm pretty, I always feel kinda down after reading stuff like cosmo, et caetera. It's not fair that they get their photos 'fixed'. x(

Yes it used to, but now i don't let it bother me anymore. I'm proud of what i look like and i'm not letting a blonde anorexic chick bring me down.

i admit that i do. for just a bit. i feel kind of jealous of those people`s body&their makeup&etc. but i forget about it really quickly. i respect my body&love myself for who i am.
