How old were you when you got married?

The only reason I ask is because I've been engaged at 20 never made it to the alter and then engaged again at 23 still never made it to the alter.

I was 18 yrs old when i married my husband but that is sort of the middle of my story. I met my husband when he was 21yrs and i only 15yrs. I got pregnant a month later (YIKES ) and then in Feb of 92 we had our daughter Hannah. This was very hard to have a baby and not be married but i am so glad we waited and lived together and experienced life a little bit first. We both needed to know what it was like to live a life with each other and without each other. We have now been married for 13yrs and have 3 children. Our marriage has been less than perfect but has also been such a blessing and a miracle. Knowing when to get married is hard, but it can be even harder to know when NOT to get married. If your guy and you seem stalled definately dont get married just because it is the next step in life. When it is right you both will know and it wont just be the next step it will be the only way to let your love flow out into the world and show everyone your feelings for each other. Now once you get married it is not the cinderella story we all dream of but that is a whole other subject. Keep on laughing and be true to yourself. You will get there in time...in the right time.

I was 20 when i got married and 17 years on its still great. We have 2 great kids 16 and 12 and we still love each other as much 2day as back then. One tip being married is what u make it Good luck Jess !

I was 25 when my husband proposed, 3 months after we met. He was 33. When we got married, I was 27 and he was 35. We've been married over a year and together now almost 4 years.
