It sounds like you are shotgunning in your troubleshooting (replace the ignition module.)

There could be any number of things causing the misfire:
- bad knock sensor or loose wires
- bad crankshaft position sensor or wires
- bad centrifugal advance in the distributor (not sure if a '91 305 has one)
- timing gears and chain are misaligned
- and half a dozen other factors.

I recommend you borrow or purchase a good service manual and go thru the ignition system troubleshooting tree, to diagnose what is working and what is not. Or else take the vehicle to a knowledgeable & competent mechanic and pay them for their diagnosis, while you do the parts replacement.

make sure you got ALL the vacuum lines on and that they are all in the right place ; check all of the electrical connectors around the distributor and front of the engine where you were working and re-check the timing . dose the truck have a knock sensor? check it ! Did you put the dielectric grease under the controll module when you changed it? if not it will overheat and go out.

Retard your timing a couple of degrees, or start using high octane fuel.

it also wouldn't hurt to give your car a tune up and use a better grade of gas.
