Do you think black-painted nails are trashy?

I think it depends on what you call trashy and your own person style. I say, if you are going to paint your nail black, at least (with a toothpick) do some white dots, or lines or something to make it a little more interesting.
To me, black nails just look plain, because black is such a plain color, so add some contrast and paint away!

black painted nails look way much better than white painted nails, white painted nails look kinda funny to me, tacky

I don't think black ones are trashy at all. It actually looks kind of cool as long as you don't have those realllllly long skanky-ho nails.

Black would be too much like Goth(unless that's what you're into).How about a pale pink or french manicure?Those look great with just about anything!
