They say opposites attract... so why do we tend to be soulmates with people who share same things???

Most of the human population dislikes fighting. They hate it when someone disagrees with them. They want someone who will do everything they like to without a second thought. The reason we tend to be soul mates with these people is because we find it easier to be in a relationship with someone who agrees with us; so you always have something to talk about, civilly. Think about it. Would you want to be with a person who supports your decisions or with someone who can disagree with you?
Being in an 'opposite' relationship is better than a regular one. because your partner is comfortable with you enough to disagree with you; it makes the relationship more interesting and meaningful knowing that you could have given up, but didn't.
