It really depends on your gaming preference, if you want in-depth, intuitive controls; then buy a Wii. The Wii features a creative control scheme, has rumble, average sound, and ok graphics, if your into a slightly less realistic driving game, buy the Wii. 360 is your best bet for realistic simulation games, will have a wide selection, all in HD, comfortable controls, rumble, and play your own soundtrack. PS3 is debatable, if your a GT junkie, then shell out the 500-600 dollars to get it, the PS3 is having major launch failures right now (consoles are melting down, software glitches) and it wouldn't be a good idea to purchase one now, PS3 has no rumble feature; and never will due to the lawsuit. A six axis controller is Sony's answer to this lack of rumble (which really can make or break a game) however, only a select few driving games will utilize this feature... Overall, the 360 will have the best range of games, overall graphics, soundtrack, and comfortable, easy to learn, controls.

I got both a Wii and a 360, but I think the driving games for the Wii are better because it shows what the Wii can do.

Classing driving games would best be got with the xbox360 as PGR3 is probably one of their most famous titles. Adding to it all the Need For Speeds and such. That is if you like using a controller (or wheel if you have one) and when compared to the Wii's system is quite droll and boring.

With the Wii's games using the Wiimote is quite a neat function that has you moving the remote around like you would an actual steering wheel.

It's just a matter of whether you want the old tried and true method, or the new exciting thing.

I'd go with the Wii. It has one aspect that totally takes the cake: its controller. Because all you need to do is turn it to turn, the gameplay itself is more realistic. Also, one game, I think it's 4x4, can come with a steering wheel. When my friend showed me what it looked like, I laughed. Its a piece of molded plastic... just insert controller. The 360's steering wheel cost 130 USD.

Also, the Wii is the cheapest. If you're going to only be playing driving games, the PS3 is too expensive, and the 360 is still pushing it.

OK with regard`s to buying a wii: Great playability but with little graphics on offer so racing cars maybe fun but they wont look the (u know) Xbox360: great all round graphics and with games coming out like Forza motor sport 2 on the horizon and the fact cars will look like cars goes in it`s favour. PS3: don't have a clue got friends stateside that say its good but i`d have to see it before I believe it.... Your main concern should be What you willing to spend on the system and what you want from it, that should help you a Lil. I`ve been gaming since the humble BBC computer wid the Blinking owl on the start up sequence, OK maybe a Lil before that too.... Only way for consoles is onwards and upwards.

if you like intense driving (grand turismo, stock car type games) go with the 360, if a fun driving game (mario bros doubledash, excite truck) then wii. if you like the medium (need for speed) then go with the wii. with the wii you will get the party driving games and the middle ones too. THe only reason i reccomend the 360 is because if u like driving simulation you are probly goign to want those almost unnoticible "better Grafics"

so overall ------------- WII

To put it simply, if you like graphics, get a 360 or ps3, if you like to have fun while playing games get a wii, (I have all three and the wii gets the most use, tennis is excellent!)

You will be disappointed greatly at the wii. Even thought it's interactive, it lacks the cutting edge graphics, sound, and actual GOOD driving games that you seek. plus they have xbox live and the awesomeest shooters available. wii is coming out with nintendo superstar adventure/arcade games, not for driving :P
