I watched this a long time ago , but I can't remember the name.It has a sword being born out of a woman and something about dragon of heaven and dragon of earth.Help?

thats the anime called X (also known as X 1999) by CLAMP (card captor sakura, tsubasa chronicles)
Quite a good apocolyptic anime and nice animation.

The anime series you are looking for is called X/1999.
The two factions are:
The Dragons of Heaven (Ten no Ryu) - the Seven Seals
The Dragons of Earth (Chi no Ryu) - the Seven Destroyers

the kids get trapped in that otherworld, and there's that guy with the summons gun. he's the earth dragon, or something, and that bad kid, that ones' the sky dragon. the mother and father remember when the sword was born, as well as cid
