I have a gut feeling we along with south korea and possibly Japan will be going to war with them if they do decide to set off another nuke.

I think we can ignore North Korea. I don't think North Korea will attack anyone. It's a shame that the North Korean people will continue to suffer horribly under that nasty dictatorship. Hard to topple a dictatorship that possesses WMD's. That's why we must deal severely with Iran, and soon.

The Six-party Talks, chaired by China, have no power to prevent DPRK nuclear development. China is the biggest sponsor for North Korea in the first place.

The U.S. should carry out a pin-point attack on DPRK nuclear test site. Japan and South Korea would support it. I don't think China and Russia would find a legitimate excuse to oppose it, either.

I do not think you can have meaningful discussions with North Korea as long as they are under the leadership of a maniac.
