Ask him about the company mission and goals. You will also want to throw in some of your knowledge about the company, do some research and he will be impressed. You may also want to ask about their vision for the IT Dept. and expectations he has for IT employees. Ask how he sees them fit into the organization. You may also want to ask what they expect from you. Ask why the other person left (or if they were fired, why).

2:what are career prospects like, with regards to training
3:what is the basic annual salary?
4:how long has your comapny been established?
