I know that it is sad that most people don't practice good cell phone ettiquite. But then again these are usually the same people that are rude and inconsiderate everywhere else.
I can see how a bluetooth can be handy and a useful bit of gadgetry. The device isn't rude, just alot of people that own them are. People should at least put their caller on hold when they interact with another person.

You are way off on that rant, the blue tooth device is a convenient, hands free tool, so that both hands can continue to work, drive, wash dishes. I love my blue tooth for the freedom it affords me, allows me to make calls without interfering with my other tasks. Why don't you get one, you will see. I had one ignorant (young) person say "now aren't you important, now that you have a blue tooth", that was the stupidest thing I heard all day. When you grow up, you might find that there is not enough time in the day, and convenience is very valuable.

The ultimate?
NO Way. I am certain that I can find better, more creative, and more thorough ways to be rude than with a blue tooth device.
