I recommend hollandV's Al dente trattoria & MrBotak Jones for western restaurant catergory. BotakJones is available at Clementi, Angmokio and Tuas. Do try the 'Botak burger','Cajun chicken', and Fish&chips. I bet you wont regret! haha, but you have to wait very long as they only start preparing the food after the order.

Al dente trattoria needs reservations too i think. I went there and tried their garlic bread, very tasty. & their pizza is so much more standard as compared to pizzahut's. Cos the crust isnt thick. Their carbonara is one of the signature pasta too.

Dimsum restaurants, i would recommend Fortunate restaurant at Toapayoh, or Redstars at Sembawang. Do try fortunate's signature toufu&fried durian!

Happy eating!

Adam Road food centre.

The NasiLemak down there is fantastic! The Sultan of Brunei and the Sultan of Johor get their take-away from there.

There's a Chinese restaurant in Bukit Timah, on Dunearn Road, directly opposite the turning into Giant/Swiss Club/British Club.

It's called 'Forture' or something along those lines. The food there is so totally yummilicious. It was featured quite recently in The New Paper by Makansutra's Sitoh.

I can guarantee that anything and everything you order will be really good. It's become a family tradition of mine to go there for anyone's birthday! And we have been going there for almost 4 years, and counting..............!
