I have the same issue. The best thing to do is be honest because most employers do check your records. I got lucky and got hired by a great company but I had to look long & hard. Other than that you'd have to lie to them & hope they don't check.

With a computer and internet connection at home, you can start earning from home, without any investment. If you have a good typing speed, general and legal transcription jobs from companies like Mountain West, Tigerfish and Accutran are available. Some of these companies do not require any experience. You can apply directly from their websites which are listed at http://tinyurl.com/o65rb
Medical transcription work at home is also available if you have completed a course and have relevant experience.

Be honest with your employer, you paid your due and that is that people do not realize that, and it's sad..tyr to find a job where they don't judge you on that. Look into college degrees and talk to counslors about what kind of job would you be ok in if you have that on your record

Run your own business then. Have you tried real estate investing? That's what me and my husband are doing right now. I have no RE background, no proper education on it ( you don't need to), no money. You don't need any kind of qualification, and no one will want to check your background. All you need is the desire to learn and commit yourself to it (same goes to all other kinds of businesses). Did you know that the richest people in US now, are salesmen and RE investor? I'm not trying to sell you anything, and I don't want your money, but if you are seriously considering it, we can help. Email me.

I'd suggest maybe taking some classes in a career you wouldn't mind. A little education goes a long way.

most government places wont hire felons. i work for the government and we process alot of applications and you wouldnt believe the types of crimes some people have committed and yes it excludes you from alot of possibilities but there are agencies that will help people such as yourself find better jobs. good luck, use your local state and county offices for help.
