Natural resources are things that people use to create energy or to make other objects.
Trees, coal, oil, water, fish, these are natural resources that are used for energy or products and can't be just created out of the blue by scientists without being called 'synthetic'.
Natural resources are naturally occurring substances that are considered valuable in their relatively unmodified (natural) form.
