We live in NW Florida and we go to Miami and Orlando on vacation....it's like going to another country sometimes!

Unlike Floriduh, Texas is a world unto it'self!
You have Piney woods and swamps in east Texas, over 300 miles of coast, Central Texas has Austin and San Antonio-beautiful!, South Texas brush, West Texas Mountains, and the you have a section towards the North that should be called Mobilhoma #2!
Best thing about Texas is the FOOD!!!!
We even have Turkeys in Crawford!

people from fla. would only go to texas on vacation to visit friend or relatives.

I just had my sister in law and brother in law from Miami visit me in Austin this past October. They loved it here and are planning on moving.
