Who is better the Buffalo Sabres or the Anahiem Ducks?

for the guy who sed that the ducks top defensemen is out (pronger) so what the sabres are without connolly there main man on the powerplay and tallinder 1 of the better defensmen so big deal if they r without ppronger n like none of thier big players on offense...and how does the 1 kid figure the ducks have been playing better goalies than the sabres have the sabres play alot of good goalies like broduer n raycroft where as the ducks play other good goalies to its more of an even off between the goalie thing...the sabres get production out of every line and out of most of the defensemen where the ducks only get production out of the top 2 lines and a couple defensemen...SABRES r better!!!!....n this question asked if the ducks or sabres were better not the gay as habs or the devils...which the sabres have beaten

You can't look at the stats like the guy who goes by points accumulated in games played and decided Buffalo is better.

Even if you want to go by that, Anaheim lost 2 of its top 4 defencemen (including the best in the league), a center, and its starting (vezina bound at the time) goalie. Before they lost them, (they lost 4 of 5 after they went down) they were ahead by way more points then Buffalo could have earned if they had won every game seperating the games played totals. Clearly Anaheim is the better team, points-wise, when healthy.

Also, San Jose and Dallas are much better than Montreal and Ottawa, the next highest teams in their divisions. Buffalo has been playing against teams with horrible goalies, whereas Anaheim has been playing against many great goalies.

In a 7 game series, there really is no way a health Buffalo could beat a health Anaheim. The ducks superior goalie and defence beats the sabre's marginally deeper offence.

i would have to go with the Ducks on this one. they have two of the best players in the NHL on the team and there both defence men and Guigere is in heaven for having Pronger and Niedermayer. the Ducks are a face team also and they can score. you will get more Sabres fans answering this question cause there not much Duck fans that come on here. but if they both met in the playoffs I would give the Ducks the cup in 6 over the Sabres but the Sabres will not make it to the finals the Habs will make it 25.

The Sabres are almost always able to pull out a win where there really shouldn't have been one, plus I'm a Sabres fan girl, so I'm gonna go with Buffalo, qualified by if they're not playing Ottawa.

The Sabres are good but I think the Ducks are going all the way this year. If they can still stay on top with Pronger out they will have it made the rest of the season when they get him back.
