It now takes an average of 6-8 months to find a job. And that is if you make job hunting your "full time job," during that time. That means putting in at least 40 hours a week.

There is a lot of competition out there. How marketable are you making yourself? You have to sell yourself, convincing an employer why you are the best hire.

Good luck!

I heard Atlanta has a high unemployment rate right now. Move a little further north to Tennessee where companies are begging people to work for them in Davidson, Rutherford and Williamson counties the unemployment rate is 2% and has been since 2001. The cost of living is also relatively low which is why Nashville was selected recently as best place to live for singles and best place to raise a family.

Miama. I stay close to Atlanta, and that i've got been to Miami on quite a few activities. each time, i've got needed Atlanta become like Miami. greater beneficial site visitors, greater beneficial night existence, greater stuff to do, much less of the quite nutty religious varieties and larger climate are a number of the flaws that quite stood out to me.

he problem with most of you people in this generation is that you are too picky on what kind of job you will take. If I ever got laid off, I would be working somewhere else the next day

it usually comes down to what are you willing to take. or more to the point, if push comes to shove, how little money can you live on. maybe try applying to places you don't normally consider. something to do while looking for what you really want to do. good luck.
