Assuming you are using Windows XP PRO (you didn't say which..)

start > run > gpedit.msc

Under Computer Configuration, go to Windows Settings > Security Settings > Local Policies > Audit Policies.

On the right, you will see a list of policies. Right click on process tracking, and set it to audit on success.

Now, when you come back in two weeks, you can load up event viewer (start > run > eventvwr) and under application see what processes were started, by what user, and when. etc. So you will know if they spent all day surfing, playing games, etc.

Note that you can also DISABLE the General tab of Internet Options in Internet explorer, this will prevent them from deleting the history that way. It's under User Configuration > Administrative Templates > Internet Explorer > Internet Control Panel. (However, if they know where to look, they may be able to manually delete the history through the command prompt.)

You can go back and track cookies (temp files ) go to tools, then internet options, then settings and view files thats if the person doesn't already know how to delete cookies from this part or buy spy ware for the computer.
