i think it's not worth getting marry anymore to many young women use the court system as a weapon. Instead of getting what is fair they try to destroy the guy or they need a excuse to destory the guy. knowing the guy won't survive unless he get a second job.Then the women will the kid a bunch of bull instead of truth to the child

The idea that 50% of marriages fail has been around forever and it is simply not true. Think of all the married persons you know. How many are divorced? That having been said, marriage with the right person is wonderful. Having children and watching them grow is a never ending miracle if you handle it right. With the wrong person, marriage can be pure hell. Take your time and choose wisely.

No one gets married to get divorced but sometimes it just doesnt work out and it doesnt matter what the woman asks the court for...its the JUDGE that decides what she gets so place the blame on the person in the black robe OR the person that caused the divorce in the first place. You shouldn't get married because you've gone right from getting married to some women getting over on you in a divorce.
Marriage isn't for everyone and the way you're thinking it's not for you....at least not now.

I'm sorry that you have such a pessimistic view of marriage. The key is to find someone who is able to see eye-to-eye with you on this issue; someone who will not use it to take advantage of you. There are still people out there, believe me.

You're talking about liberals bias in favor of women in the legal system, which is very true much of time.
However, this doesn't have anything to do with successful, happy marriages, nor does it make marriage "not worth it."
