Nope, works great for me. It can burn for a minuet, but not long. The models do it.

Please don't use toothpaste! I listened to my friend and dabbed a tiny amount and covered it with a bandage overnight. When I woke up, my pimple had swollen and the skin around it was all scabby and gross.
Basically, it's a total MYTH that toothpaste works. The chemicals in toothpaste are meant to kill everything on your teeth, why on earth would you put that on your face which has delicate skin?

Im not exactly sure how the steps are how to put asprin on your pimple, JUST WATCH THE TYRA BANK'S SHOW! i watched it that toothpaste is not right. Don't ever use toothpaste. Leaves scars!!!!
DONT LISTEN TO THOSE PEOPLE!! it doesn't work. TRUST ME! watch tv. LEARN!
and toothpaste is MEANT for BRUSHING YOUR TEETH, not you face. okay?

as Kailey B mentioned, toothpase does not work. They talked about it on Tyra Banks show when Allure magazine editor was on. She said it is a total myth and that there are now so many chemicals in toothpaste these days that it will actually dry your skin out and probably make it worse.
a better method is to take regular old aspirin. crush it up and then drop some water on it to make a paste. Apply that to the zit. the salsylic acid in aspirin is much better at fighting zits.

I have tried this at home remedy. Dried my skin, but didn't help the pimples. Best thing I have found is tea tree oil from the body shop. Has not irritated or dried my skin out. The zit is gone in two days. If you put the stuff on it, just when it starts to hurt. It will never develop, just disappear.

i tried it before because i read in a magazine. for me, it kinda worked but it left my skin feeling dry and irritated. it did get rid of the pimple some and the oil especially since my skin is so oily. maybe next time i should use a milder toothpaste, but i guess it could vary from anybody. you should try it.

I have an acne treatment that has won me the best answer better then fifteen times. Often, the person who voted it the best answer was amazed at how well it worked, even those who had severe cases of acne. I'll copy and paste it below.
Use a hot compress on it, and then use cool water to close the pores. Do the process over and over again, about five or six times. Use soap to wash the area, and then treat it with an alcohol soaked cotton ball. It should be gone within five to six hours.
Here are some of the previous comments I got from those who voted it as the best answer,

only put them on to dry them out. if the pimple is already popped, scarring is up in the air. however, if you do use toothpaste, make sure that it's white

Keep the toothpaste on the pimple for 5 minutes maximum, otherwise it will burn the skin badly.

Acne & blackheads Home Remedies
1. Put toothpaste on your pimple before you go to bed, should help reduce swelling overnight. Make sure it is the paste not the gel. One of the most popular acne home remedies.
2. Wash your face twice a day in warm salty water. This should leave your face oil free without aggravating the acne.
3. Apply a paste of fresh methi (fenugreek) leaves over the face every night for 10-15 minutes and washed with warm water. This will prevent acne, pimples, blackheads, and wrinkles.
4. Place strawberry leaves on the acne, the alkalinity helps to reduce the swelling.
5. Extract juice of one lemon and mix with equal quantity of rose water. Apply this mixture on the face and let it stay for about half an hour. Wash the face with fresh water. About 15 days application helps cure acne, pimples and reduces blemishes and scars.
6. Another method is to massage the face with the skin of lemon before washing with lukewarm water.
7. Apply fresh mint juice over the face every night for the treatment of acne, pimples, insect stings, eczema, scabies, & other skin infections.
8. Eat plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables. At least 5 servings of fruits and vegetables should be included in your diet. All acne home remedies should include a healthy diet.
9. A couple of garlic cloves, crushed and dabbed on the face 1-2 times a day. One of the smellier acne home remedies!
10. Home face wash for acne: Mix together 1 or 2mls each of the following: witch hazel, tea-tree and sweet fennel essential oils, adding essential oil of geranium for women and essential oil of rosewood for men. Mix with 300mls of water. Shake before use, as the oils will float on top of the water during storage. Dab affected areas with cotton wool two or three times a day. The oils will clean and unclog giving antibiotic-like protection to the skin.
