How come in the book at the Quiddich World cup Victor Krum caught the snitch when Bulgaria was over 150 points behind, since Ireland would win anyway? WHY?? and how did the Weasly twins predict that?

What if the ireland seeker caught it first? That would look a lot worst on the team. The Weasly Twins are very smart when it comes to making money. They also knew (as debated in the book) that the Ireland team was better than Bulgaria but Bulgaria had the best seeker.

Well, the Weasleys prediction was pure luck, and because they knew Krum was the best seeker, and better than the Ireland's seeker. But they also knew that the others players of Ireland were better scoring goals, just pure luck, and knowledge of the players' characyeristics.
And you know that the snitch means a lot of points, but since Bulgaria was so behind as you said, even twith the score for having caught the snitch, they didnt win, because they still needed some points, I think they were missing ten or 15 points for winning, so Ireland won.

Krum probably felt as though there wasn't a point in letting it continue any further since Bulgaria wasn't getting any points. It was kind of a strange move considering there are tons of games that have gone on that were incredibly long. It's also possible that he knew that school was starting soon and he didn't want the game to drag on and on for weeks at a time.
The Weasley twins have probably read about him doing something similar before. This is what they do, they're betters, risk takers, it's amazing the amount of research and work they'll do for certain things.

well, maybe because they knew that Krum was a better seeker than Ireland's and Ireland's team was better than Bulgaria..
or maybe just plain luck

Who knows. All we really know for sure is that it did happen, and it may or may not have been of any significance. I guess we'll find out after Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, won't we?
