There usually the ones that are there for you no matter what. They give you their honest opinion and don't let other people push you around. Basically someone you can trust and someone that respects you. There is a such thing as having more than one best friend though. I have four best friends and they are all completely different but I enjoy all of their company equally.

You know when you can talk to them about anything and everything and you just feel like you can do anything with them. Its like the perfect friend. You're not shy around that person you always wanna hang out with that person and talk and stuff you know! i know because i had a best friend but lost her because she changed into another person and didn't care bout me anymore but its all good though i don't need her.

A best friend accepts you as you are . The good, the bad, and everything in between. He/she, can take the shaky times as well as the good times, you give and take ,never one sided.
A person with just one true friend is blessed.

It's the one person that you can turn to when you really need someone to be there for you, and even when you don't! They respect every decision you make and back you up even if they don't agree with it! They make you smile when you think there aren't any left! They are the ones you look forward to seeing when you get up day to day!

The person that you can tell anything to and not worry that they will judge you. The person that will listen to you cry when your upset and know just what to say to make you laugh, even if it has nothing to do with what is going on.

Best friends stick by u through thick and thin.If they disagree with what u are doing or saying they will still stand by u.Unless it's against the law.The will except your faults and u can always count on them...

good question... i thought someone was my bestfriend, but then she started ditching me everysingle day for her stupid boyfriend. and i realized she wasn't a true friend.
it sucked.

u know who is your best friend when u do something bad or something bad happens and theyre there for u, they dont judge and they dont walk away.
