How do you soft mod for Halo 2 ?

I already own action replay, and splinter cell, i am just not sure what to do with them.I would like step by step, and in simplest form if possible.

Well it's a bit complicated. i actually modded my xbox b4 so i know how. First, connect your AR to your cpu. Go to the AR website and go to saved games on the splinter cell category. Download a profile save and a linux save. Now transfer them to your AR software and then your memory card. Now finally transfer it to your xbox and then boot up splinter cell. Now with the 2 files on your hard drive, when splnter cell starts up, go to the new selectable profile and then select checkpoints. i dont no soft mode but if u want i can telll u how to get secret skulls that make it relly fun ok#1 when u crash land on earth go to the hall were ther will be a grunt kill it then look behind u ther will be a light in the wall jump on this then look to your left at the wall and jump up to the top of the building (ezer if u have a freind stand her and u jump on him) then turn to your left go down the dark corredor ther will be a skull pick it up walla u got a secret itl do something to your game dont worry turning your game off will reset it as for wat it dose im not saying its pretty cool its like for majore hard core chacters who like a challeng #2 on the first lvl your the alien play it on legendary then make your rediculasly hard way to the spot were u get the banshee and your chasing that gye head down to bottom of the lvl somewat and ther will be three gien looking cilenders go betwwen #1 and #2 then head up under the brig land on top of #1 were your under the brige but on top of the cilender ther will be grunts dancing around a skull pick that up then u got grunts berthday party mod u can shoot w/e u want in the head and its like a plasma grnade hit them its so much funt doing it to dead ones right when pepol walk over them
#3 this ones a liittl harder to explain when u get to the lvl were.....danm cant remamber iny way it looks like your kinda bye old ruins u got to the right top left corner and get your self up that wall some how u can turn invisabl as master chief like the alien can wow a lot of writing and i still havent gotten beter xD weel ima let u go have fun

there is some software that will only work if you have a original xbox and a PC, you need to have the right kind of connection for PC to xbox uploads, which means xbox live I think.
