the problem is i cant find the spark plugs

They are under the center black cover that is in the center of the valve cover.
Remove the black cover and the wires, coils and spark plugs are all burried under that black center cover.

Is there a heat shield in front of the engine, over the manifold? They could be behind there. I hope you were smart enough to follow the plug wires from the distributor. They are usually at the other end.

FYI. They isnt a traditinal distributer. Two out of the four plugs run the other two. Yes, located under a shield or basically bolted on plastic cover.
