I thought I just answered this! Okay, anyway:
A little girl\boy loves magic, though has never seen, witnessed, or felt it b4. Yet his\her interest in it never weakens. He\She longs a day when he\she can fell it, discover it.
One day, it snows, and snows....and snows. Deciding to go outside and take advantage of it, he\she plays until worn out. Plopping down, he\she notices a robin with a raspberry red chest. Ever so quietly, the boy\girl says softly, "Oh, sweet bird. Sing to me. Let me hear you sing with all your hearts desire. Or maybe a song with magic. I long to hear magic." The robin tilts it's head and hops closer to the little boy\girl's feet. "Just a little magic, eh? I can do that easy", the robin says softly. Shock crosses the boy\girl's face. Smiling, the bird instantly sings a beautiful, heart warming song to the little boy\girl's delight.
I will let you think of a good ending :)

First, you have to figure out who your audience is. Then write a story that you think will interest them. Settings, such as waterfalls or lakes are just that, not ideas or themes. You can use them in telling your story, but they are not the story. Stick with themes that have resonated over the years with readers: good vs. evil, man vs. nature, boy/girl grows up, and think of an original story to describe those themes. Don't get discouraged if your first efforts aren't any good, just keep writing and you will find your own voice and ideas which is when your writing will improve and be easier for you.

a man wakes up behind a waterfall in the amazon jungle, and you can give flash backs from the past on how he came about here.
after losing his friends when their boat fell from the waterfal. he has no first aid and no food and needs to find help. you can write a story about how he survives in the jungle for 5 days...
you can go like how he tried to survive in those 5 days trying to follow the river on his foot to find some help. there are alot of poisonious ants, snakes, how he loses the cheetah by jumping in the river and how he tries to eat fish from the river.
after 5 days of exhaustion he finally decides to kill himself by cutting his wrist thinking he will die anyway by a pocket knife.
you can create suspense after he actually does kill himself and wakes him in a hospital. his friends were never found and neither their body or you could say maybe one of his friends body was found but no one knows where the otherone went. its an amazon you can write so much about survival in a rainforest such as an amazon.

Maybe something fictional, something exciting, something that will catch your reader's attention, like somethng to do with magic. What about 2 kids find out that they have magic and go to a different world and they find a magical harp that helps the kids defeat a evil warlock and at the end, the kids get a reward of calling the world any name of their choiceand they become the king and queen or leaders of the land, what about a lonely boy that has his wish of wanting a pet horse come true and when they get split apart a very touvhing thing happens.

Why no longer attempt to comprise each and every of the ideas in those solutions!? so which you have have been given zombie-hunters, vampires, a guy looking an mind's eye below a rock, laser-eye surgical operation and a creepy postman. i'm going to throw in a porcupine. Whoah - i could examine it!!

What about Seventh Sanctum? That's always the one I go to. It's at seventhsanctum.com . It has lots of generators and good ideas.
NaNoFiMo (National Novel Finishing Month) also has a few generators at their site, nanofimo.org .

In honesty, it is the writers job to come up with the ideas. I do happen to have a good generator site though, I hope it helps.
