Livingstone is an odious sh1t and has been since the first day he was elected to the old GLC.
He is a racist, anti-semetic, anti-business, divisve, Arab loving apologist - who is not fit to hold elected office.
Having said that, he is a clever politician.
He taxes the "wealthy" (who don't have enough votes to harm him) and stings business (who don't have any votes at all) and uses the money to bribe the lowlife who turn out in their droves to vote for him.
Ken Livingstone is a low-life gobshite. The sooner he goes the better.

Livingstone isn't a 'commie'. He change into elected as an self sufficient then wormed his some time previous into New Labour. the really strong component he ever did for London change into the 'fares honest' marketing campaign contained in the early 80s which kept public delivery expenses down, yet Thatcher suggested this as a danger and closed the GLC to that end. Now Londoners have the hated Oyster card and the Olympics - if i change into residing there, i might want to be campaigning to end it. regrettably he's yet somebody else who has lost his ideas for brand new Labour.

Ken Livingstone is the best candidate for Mayor of London. The alternatives just wanna make you laugh - they're really a bunch of no-hopers and losers.
The reason Ken gets re-elected is because people of a Conservative nature as well as Socialists want the Artful Dodger for Mayor.

Well we all have our opinions good or bad but the truth is that those of us who live in London and pay taxes know that Red Ken is profligate with other peoples money and always has been. Just look at the money (our money) wasted on his jaunt to Cuba!. Most of the reasons he gave to justify this holiday have turned out to be 'spin' at which he is adept. Now he is proposing a multi million pound celebration of the Cuban revolution. You couldn't make it up.

As a public transport user, I think the congestion charge is one of the best recent developments in London. The difference in traffic levels and the speed of my journey once I get within the zone is huge. I can't wait for it to get extended, especially if it's around old street where the traffic is terrible. Public transport in London is so comprehensive that anyone who regularly uses a car without a pretty good reason is being lazy and selfish in my opinion...polluting the air and filling up the roads unnecessarily.
If you really want to know what money is spent on it is all in the GLA Budget, here:

It looks like most of it goes on policing...which could be considered looking after the people...

I hate him! Transport for London is always advertising for opinions on congestion, now opinions on emissions etc but he does not and never will take a blind bit of notice. He's scum and nobody will vote for him again. I didn't vote for him actually as he reminded me of a lizard. With that I'm off to bed. Night.
