I just applied to a local smoothie shop and if I get a call back with an interview, i'm not sure what i'm suppose to wear. I've read that jeans are strongly inappropiate. But this is a smoothie shop and i don't consider it to be dressed 'professionally.' My brothers have landed a job before when they wore jeans to their interview. i'm not sure what i'm suppose to do! Please and thank you!

You can be certain that in any interview professional dress is a must. If there are other candidates who are also being interviewed and should they wear jeans they will probably pick you over them if you are dressed professionally. I would suggest that if possible wear a black or dark blue skirt and a white blouse/shirt. Don't forget nylons and black/dark blue pumps. If skirts are not your style black pants are acceptable. Be sure everything is ironed nicely and go light on make-up.. Don't forget when you get there to offer the interviewer a handshake (firm, not wimpy), keep good eye contact and a smile with a pleasant attitude.. Should they ask you to fill out any paperwork, be certain to print and use very neat hand writing. While all this might seem trivial it gives the employer good insight as to who you are and that you mean business and seriously want the job. Good luck!

If you are a boy you wear slacks and a nice button-up shirt or
blue jeans a belt and a nice ironed shirt
do not show up with more than 1 ear ring- no tats showing,
and nothing to show how "bad '' you are
If you are a girl nothing too low or too high
both show a low key but smiling attitude, be happy to go to work today if necessary.
dress like you are going to church like you respect yourself....good luck! getting the interview is more than halfway to getting the job!!
