All dreams mean something. They are our subconscious mind reaching out to the conscious. They need to be interpreted accordingly. Predictors of the future? Only Deja Vu.

Some are predictions.
Edit: Just because some of you people have yet to have an accurate prediction with a dream, doesn't mean some dreams can't be predictions. I have had numerous dreams and flashes, which were accurate predictions. I could understand the concept of coincidence, but when it happens often then it isn't a coincidence. I have had dreams that are accurate predictions of people or situations. I've informed people associated with these specific dreams, which the prediction still ends up happening regardless.
These predictions mostly happens when I sleep after meditating my mind, yet some come out of no where regardless. Usually you can feel whether or not the dream is a predictions because it feels like an emotional or spiritual tug on the mind.
The last dream I had that I felt this tug was very very bad, which I do not know if it is true or will end up being true. It had to do with either a new method to execute people in massive numbers or to torture people. Imagine being inside an aquarium tank full of water and being electrocuted.
Anyways, some dreams are predictions.

Dreams often reflect aspects of what is going on in your life. Other times, they are nothing more than a jumble of images and thoughts and have no meaning beyond that.
It's possible that dreams can predict the future for some people. It is more likely in most cases that a dream will support something that is accepted as bound to happen anyway.

I will tell you what has happened to me, though whether you believe it or not is up to you.
I once had a dream where I was hiding in an old warehouse from someone trying to kill me. It was a warehouse I didn't recognize. A few weeks later, I went with some friends to Lynchburg, VA, and saw the same warehouse. It was a bit odd.
Even more recently, my husband had a dream in which a coworker of his was trying to get him fired from his job, by messing with his car (he delivers pizzas at night). A couple weeks later he found out from a manager that her and another woman working there were planning on giving him as many marks as possible so he would get in trouble.
I think some dreams may just be our way of working out problems; but I'm open to the possibility of them being more. "Greater things in heaven and earth", they say.

Dreams have a purpose, they help us digest our emotional states into consciousness, often they predict our personal future experiences as an emotional sequence of events...... more specifically.... the sequence of experiences in the dreams evoke emotions,,,, this emotional sequence is more important than the visual experiences ....
For a westerner it is a rare thing to be aware of dream meanings as dreams are culturally symbolic and our varied culture prevents general symbolism to aid in interpretations,,,,,
my point is that they do have a lot of meaning and do fortell our personal future experiences. Unless we realize and learn from the dream, thus bringing an internal issue to consciousness thus releasing that future...
I went blank......what was the question again,,,,,lol

Dreams are not a prediction of the future, but they can say something about who you are. The information in dreams has to come from somewhere. A dream my show you what your true feeling on a subject are. More often then not dreams are just random pointless information being shuffled by your brain while you sleep.

its not a matter of opinion, EVERY dream has a meaning.
it cant tell the future because it is not possible and dreams are created in your mind, not in some fortune cookie.
the dreams can reflect your feelings, the things you saw or anything in your subconscious.
every time you go to sleep you dream, i dont know why some dreams people remember
go to someone that can analyze dreams if you want to know the meanings (if you dont mind for him to discovers your secrets, even those you dont know about).

Have you ever read The Mists of Avalon? There is a line in there that basically says dreams are folly, but occasionally you can wander into the Land of Truth in your dreams.

They don't mean anything, and they don't predict the future. Emotions, thoughts, and experiences are all combined into a stew of dreams. Whatever you focus your energy on gets thrown in. Other times...it's kind of random and there is not a full explanation.

Well when you dream it means what is going to happen in the future or just when you wake up it mean what you desire, wish, or the future of what would happen.
