how do i find out if this old laptop i have can be connected through my wireless network?

If it's Win2K it may be nearly impossible.... nearly. But if there is a USB port there may be a way.

As long as you have a card for it or usb device then it should work. Trial and error.

most likely if it has a cardbus slot ... to check if it has a wireless card look in internet connections and device manager.
