what is the problem?
trying to download them through iTunes? it has been slow (probably my connection more than iTunes though) and I won't do it often as I enjoy the physical DVD w/packaging & extras.
trying to play movies downloaded elsewhere? try Quicktime, and if they will not play in QuickTime, you should download and install the divx codecs and vlc and install them both. vlc is a nice media player that supports a wide variety of formats.
check these links for more info and the downloads:

as a last resort, you may want to try windows media codecs or Flip4Mac, which will allow you to play most .wmv files (WIndows Media Player)
