How long do the batteries on a wireless laser mouse and keyboard last?

I bought a new Logitech wireless mouse and keyboard several months ago and the longest I can go between battery changes is two weeks (even if I use lithium batteries)

Funny you should ask that. I have a wireless mouse and the batteries are going dead after 2 weeks.
