What do you think of the infamous Christian Gaines?
For those who don't know he is Garth Brooks alter ego

Honestly, I think his album would have been a much bigger hit if Garth hadn't told anyone that HE was Chris Gaines and we could have just thought they were two different people for at least a month or two, and then he could have gone on TV and said "I'm Chris Gaines," and we all would have been like, "WHOA!!!" and then the whole thing would have been known as a brilliant concept album instead of a flop so ridiculous there are no words to describe it. For someone with a marketing degree, Garth sure didn't know how to market THAT idea!!!!

I loved his cd, regardless if he is Garth Brooks. If he would have released the cd as Garth Brooks I would have loved it too. I still have it. Im a sucker for some good music I guess.
