Why is it with 3 laptops in the home and a Lkinksys Broadband wireless 2.4 is hookuped to our computer are the lap tops even if in the same room not able to connect to the internet? "Out of range" or "unable to connect" yet at times 1 of the 3 is able to connect. Is there a possibility that something is connected wrong or should we be looking on the laptop for possible problems?

It could be you have a cordless phone that is on the same channel and it's causing an interference. Change the channel on the Router or Phone. That should help.

I have the same router. Sometimes, whoever set the wireless part of the network up might have either put a block on mac addresses. More and likely the configuration onthe router is the problem. If you dont know how to set up the router, I would try reseting the router with the orange button on the front and try to do it again.
