Depends. What type of sound are you looking to achieve? The Krank, and I assume you are looking into the Krankenstein, is kind of a one trick pony in my humble opinion. Well built but strictly a metal amp and to Krank's credit, they make no qualms about it. Personally I would go with the Marshall. A little more versatility. And the amp is more likely to "grow" with you.

a voxac30 is my dream amp. Anything less then that in the vox world is not the same the ac15 is nice but its missing the complete sound. the old line6 spiders (version 1) are cool. Digital amps really let you tweak them and get lots of sounds if you want to spend the time. You should try a fender twin and also the Blues Jr. the twin might be a bit two clean and pricey but the Blues Jr. are nice especially if you upgrade the speaker. Also Roland JC-120's are great, although a distortion pedal is needed. have you played a tele thinline with 2 p90's. those are absolutely awesome guitars and the reissues are only $700, which would then allow you to buy the AC30.

It depends on what kind of sound you are going for...if you like the blues sound...a nice fender 4x10 hot rod deville works well if you have a strat...if you are into metal...which it seems...i would suggest going with a Marshall, VOX, or a Line 6...it really depends on what kind of effects you are playing and what kind of axe you have. Go to your local music shop with your main axe and try them all out. Also, don't be afraid to spend a little more...settling for something affordable will only make you spend more money when you are unsatisfied with your purchase.

Marshall. Trust me, my dad works with a lot of guitars, and the amps he usually prefers are either Marshall or Fender.
