Bohemian Rhapsody is the most respected. It is not necessarily the best, but if anybody says differently, they're lying. ;P

No, definitely not. It's basically just a bass line and some fairly repetitive lyrics. Which was ripped off "Rapper's Delight" by the Sugarhill Gang (you know, the one which goes " a hip hop hip a hippy...")

As everyone has pointed out, Bohemian Rhapsody is THE iconic Queen song. Purely because it represents all the different styles that Queen did, all rolled into one. The start is like a rock ballad, similar to " Save Me" with a great solo and some really nice piano. Then the famous operatic interlude, which is typical of Queen's random pillaging of genres, and they do it so well! All 4 of them are really talented vocalists and harmonize so effectively.

Lastly, there's the rock out at the end, which is just fun. Until right at the very end, when we're full circle and back to rock ballading.

It's just a classic song and always makes it onto these top100 singles ever things. Even now, if you put it on at a party everyone will sing along and do the funny voices.

That's why it's better than "Another one bites the dust". Sorry.

My personal favorite and most respected song by Queen is "The Show Must Go On". Think about it.

Queen Killer, anyone? That's my favorite, but Wayne's World made Bohemian Rhapsody more famous.

No, I thought that their most respected one was "We are the champions" then I have heard that one of their cheaper ones to air as far as royalties is "Bicycle."
