I used Lime Away (The same thing as CLR) on a white sweater that had a rust stain that had been washed and dried several times and it took the stain out. Check the directions on the tag first though.

Rub it with a stain stick or something of that nature and then throw it in the wash with some bleach. Do it quickly, though, because rust is hard to get out. I also heard that in a pinch baking soda and vinegar on the stain will work.

they sell clorax pens and wide sticks

wet jacket and apply clorax from pen. let soak in and wait.

was out with a clear soap or water (cold) if still there even a little repeat and when the stain is gone dry and iron

Use CLR, I tried it once reluctantly and it actually worked and didn't ruin the fabric. I used it on cotton; any other material I am not sure of.

Use CLR, it gets the rust stains off of tubs and other stuff :)

If it's bright white use bleach. I use the Clorox bleach pen and it works great.
