Not really. They don't offer enough face shapes and hair colors to make a very close resemblance. I did try to make it as close as possible though.

Mine's a little scary, too - it definately looks like me. My work email address has the same avatar but with a pony tail and that one might actually look more like me.

not really... i have black hair with brown eyes, i just really like GONE WITH THE WIND (go Margaret Mitchell!), and, well, no, i don't look like my avatar at all.
besides, it's really hard to make an ugly avatar, and even though i'm not ugly, someone might be with a really cute avatar...

I did one and while all the "pieces" I picked were accurate, it didn't look anything like me. It kind of creeped me out, so I deleted it.
