They are not pointless to everyone. Many of the askers here are foreigners and wish to understand slang, meanings and expressions of other countries,
many of them seek homework or work experience answers to questions in their everyday life and or school.
The questions which is pointless to you is not to many, as they just want to have a little fun or get points.
Many people wre using several computers or software to give themselves best answers in order to acheive high points which really is pointless.
Most of these I enjoy, but some of the questions are pointless a syou say. It's human nature to be pointless .

Thats just something people with nothing to do, well, do. they ask pointless questions, just like if you had a cookie and a five year old, you know he is going to eat the cookie if you leave it alone with him, lol

I came on lookin for dating advice because I honestly just suck at dating.
What i found was a bunch of kids bickering and splurging misinformation left and right about things they know nothing about.
Stupid questions like "Hey im 13 and my 18 year old boyufriend says he loves me should we have sex?"
everyone says no but you know she did it anyways because SHE thinks shes in love with the freakin pedophile.
