I sell my textbooks on ebay, and, for the most part, get a reasonable price for them. If you do list them on ebay remember to bear the ebay and Paypal fees in mind as well as to calculate postage costs - obviously put a sensible start price (maybe the minimum you would be prepared to accept on the books, individually or together). If the textbooks are specifically for American courses, state you will only post to the USA if you don't want the hassle of posting abroad. If the books are in good condition and still used for courses then you should get more than you quote above - sounds like a rip-off site/shop. Amother option might be to advertise them on college/school/university noticeboards or to see if local papers offer free advertisements. Good luck

The College I went to bought used books back for a really good price...not what you paid but reasonable. Also, you may want to make a flyer with your number on it and stick it at bulletin boards throughout your school.

All universities have book stores that will purchase back any used textbook, as long as the study courses are still using those books.

there is a site called textbook411.com that actualy buys books back direct (you dont ahve to wait for someone to need the book) they just pay you cash and then resell it later. They pay decent prices too 9better than the campus bookstore atleast!)
