A gay guy could have sex with a woman just as a straight guy could have sex with a man, but a sexual act does not change an underlying sexual attraction. Since homosexuality has been proven to be based upon biological and genetic differences, it would be impossible for a gay guy to turn straight.

I think that any gay person who is attracted to someone of the opposite sex is basically bi-sexual. I am bi and married to a man. Even though I find women attractive I don't act on that attraction because I'm monogomous.
I think that is is possible to fall in love with someone you wouldn't normally consider and be very happy. I think also, that people who think that homosexuality is wrong and that gays need to turn straight are really warped. I firmly believe that God wants us to be happy and love one another. All of this gay paranoia by the religious right is so wrong, and not Christian at all. Christ was about love, not fear. Acceptance not coersion. If you love her-go for it.

It all depends on whether you believe people are (always) born gay or that the behavior is learned (both can be true). If you are born that way I don't believe it would be an easy task to "turn straight", although there are plenty of straight people who change their sex or gender, so you could do that, but it would only be superficial. Additionally, if one lives a certain way long enough they will slowly start to believe that is who they are.

it is possible, but not to probable. It has happened but doesn't happen very often, but then again some straight guys have turned gay also. So take it from there....Possible but not too probable.

If he's really gay, I'd say it's possible for a gay guy to act straight. He might even be able to talk himself into it for a while. But sooner or later, he'll want to act on his desires. If he doesn't, he wasn't really gay to begin with.

yes, thousands have, thousands more will. The ex-gay movement is growing day by day as many find happiness in straight life, leave the gay lifestyle and never turn back. don't believe the " born gay " and " gay for life" propaganda, gays are always claiming to have converted straight guys gay, so the opposite must also be true. Its a choice... not a lifetime affliction.

No.
Those who claim to have been gay and are now straight are only deluding themselves to conform to the expectations of others mixed with a sense of self loathing.

It is possible.. I have seen one.. I don't know how long he will be straight or if he is just fighting a losing battle but right now he is married with a 1 year old son. I guess prayer does really work!

No. There are religious groups who insist they can change them, but if you're born that way. That's who you are. Accept it & be the best person you can be.

being gay is not a choice! whoever it is, they can resist the temptation but the thoughts of being another man and being attracted to them will never change...
