I have burned dvd's that are stacked on top of each other in a plastic spindle. Do they get ruined that way?

If you stack regular movies or CD's on top of each other do they get ruined? They're the same thing. They can get scratched just like any other disc. If your careful they should be okay, but I would put them in cases or a CD wallet to keep them in better shape.

I do this with a lot of my data DVDs that I burn for backups. As long as you take care of them, they should be fine. Of course, just be sure to not let dust or dirt accumulate on them, because then if the DVDs end up rotating on the spindle, you'll damage them because of the dirt.

Well it all depends on how you use them if you just let them without care then of course even if they are in a dvd box if you do not take good care of them they will be ruined in less than it took you to burn them. So treat your DVd's as you would do it with your girl!!

Nah mate, should be fine, although to keep them bang on perfect, keep them in a plastic wallet folder thing. Also mate, never write on them in biro, screws them right up.

The dust will destroy them, if your DVD player is kinda Old especially, keep them in cases.
