Driving an expensive vehicle?

Do you ever wonder why someone who lives in an apartment or trailer park or some other type of non ownership dwelling would buy/lease a Porsche cayenne SUV, Cadillac Escalade, BMW, , Lexus, etc, etc. Seems to me if you can afford that kind of vehice- you should be able to invest in something that will be more profitable like buying a home

maybe they don't want a better home? what gets me is the people who buy a hummer or 4 by suv and never drive it outside the city. Cars are all for show these days.
