You need to tell her gently. It would be horrible if she found out any other way. Do it in private,in case she gets upset. If she needs time give it to her, and let her know you understand she may need some time. Do not try to tell her you know how she must feel, because you don't. Tell her you are there to talk even if she wants to talk about how this news hurt her. She is not upset with you. She is just hurt, because she is unable to have a child. Just try to be understanding.

I have been in her position and understand her pain so If I were you I would wait a while. How far along are you?? Wait to tell her after she has emotionally recovered a little while and till you are showing.

If she is your friend she isn't going to stop talking to you, she just has to get through the pain. Be supporttive of her problems.

Speak to her about adoption. My daughter is our natural child and our son is adopted. They are adults now but I actually forget that I did not give birth to him.

Just be as supportive as you can and when you tell her be ready to hold her while she cries.

Happy babies.

My sister-in-law and I ended up pregnant at the same time. But I ended up loosing both twins about 1 1/2 months apart. It was really hard on me and she was always having trouble talking to me about her pregnancy but I think that it helped me grieve a little. Everyone is different but I think you should, and if your pregnant with twins it wont take her long to notice your belly =) Congrats!!!

Im sure she will be happy for you but will be saddened about her situation. theres always adoption for her too if she can't get prgenant . My husband is fixed and i have endometriosis so theres really no way for us to have a baby so we adopted a newborn 2 years ago and its amazing he looks just like me. Tell her your having babies cause she will find out eventually. Tell her to keep her hopes up that it is possible to get pregnant just its a lot of work and lots of money. adoption from the government doesn't cost anything really if she would consider that.
