Of course I believe in him.. he is the spirit. Get over being angry with your parents. Focus on the excitement you felt before going to bed, yea, so it only lasted a few years but... how wonderful those feelings were. The thrill of going to bed, trying to sleep, the happiness... today society is trying to push our kids to be adults before they are 10. Kids should be able to enjoy their youth because it is sooooooooo short. Be thankful you had those years, because there are many who have not. And yes, when my kids were little, I went way overboard.. we had no chimney, so I went outside, made footprints in the snow, a broomstick made sleigh tracks, and Santa even dropped a few bells on the floor. .. yes.. the excitement and happiness on my kids face was worth every second of that. And my kids are healthy mentally, they hold no bad or angry feelings.. they are right into it, and will do the same for their own. Parents know that before our kids even hit 18, they will have mature issues to deal with, why rob them of the few years of happiness and childhood. You should be thanking your parents for loving you so much that they would want you to have happy days in childhood.

Well so what if he's not real, isn't it a whole heck of a lot funner to pretend like he is. Here's the thing, things are only as real as you make them. Don't listen to anyone else tell you that he is or that he isn't, you got to make the choice whether you believe. I say he's true, he represents all the good in life, and all that is possible of humans as a whole: we can be giving and joyful, or we can be on the naughty list, it's our choice. I choose to believe that somewhere out there there is a Santa, metaphorically speaking he could even be your very own parents...I mean, they give you presents, they want you to be happy... they wrap them up so that it is a surprise, they do everything Santa would do if he was real, including eating the cookies you leave out at night! So you might as well let him be real, and let your parents enjoy being Santa for a little longer!

My parents always told me Santa, etc. was a game we play. They never said Santa was real, but let us believe it for as long as we wanted. My parents didn't want us to think they lied, so when it comes to Jesus & religion, my parents wanted us to know that he was real & not just another lie. I married now, no kids & I love that my husband & I play santa. Enjoy the game it is fun & exciting, & that is what it is meant to be.

Santa is the embodiment of the spirit of giving and love - and it is that spirit that comes down our chimney each year and fills our homes and hearts with love. I believe in Santa, like I believe in love - just like love, I know he's there - but he lives in the hearts of everyone more than in a home at the North Pole.
Same goes with the tooth fairy - it's a very exiciting time in a kids life and very scary too. It's nice for them to know that there is someone who wants to reward them for losing the baby teeth - and I am happy to play the role of tooth fairy for my children.
There are kids who grow up without santa and the tooth fairy, and while that is reality, that is not what childhood is supposed to be about. Childhood is supposed to be about love and magic - and when we have our own kids, we accept the role of the person providing that love and magic.
xoxo! Take care hon.
Peace!

I was taught from the beginning that Santa isn't real, but he's as real as you want him to be. They did tell me that idea of Santa came from this guy called St. Nick and his friend, who would give you presents if you were good. I don't know where the elves came from. Same with the tooth fairy.

How old are you? Are you serious? Santa is as real as you want him to be. If your parents told you Santa and EB came, and you dont like that, get over it. Its a traditon, and its fun so quit being a brat and appreciate your parents and what they give you.
