How many people in America actually work?

Out of the 300 million - does anyone know where I can find out approx. how many work?

The Bureau of Labor Statistics has this info. The total number of people working in the USA is 145,926,000 in November 2006. Most often employment is measured in non-farm work. That's the number you hear on the news all the time. That number is 136,214,000.
