Oxyclean is the only cleaner I know of. You may also want to try shout and other fabric cleaners. I would apply the cleaner of your choice on the stain every few days, lightly scrubbing it after each application.
Hydrogen peroxide can be used for blood stain. Stay away from bleach because that will discolor your carpet.
What is the source of the red stain? kool-aid? nail polish? fruit?
I got a cream saver red raspberry candy stain on my favorite corduroy pants from leaving the candy in a back pocket while it was in the wash and the dryer. I applied oxyclean for on the stain and washed it with my other laundry for several weeks until the stain came out.
I guess that makes me biased towards Oxyclean.
I hope this helps in solving your problem stain.

I've used oxy clean on my light blue carpet for red wine stains with no problem, there is also a product called spot shot, it takes a little while but it works the stain out as well.

There's a carpet cleaner that's called OxyKick by Woolite I think. (It comes in a twin silver canister dispenser with a little red trigger). That stuff is the best carpet cleaner I have found. It got navy blue paint out of light gray carpet during redecorating once. And chocolate pudding out of the same light gray carpet that had set in. It's definitely worth a try.

NEVER USE OXY CLEAN ON CARPET - I've seen it bleach out the color from at least 10 customers of mine. There is a product called "red vanish". If you really want the stain out go to jondon.com and buy it there. They'll ship it to you.
It can take up to 8 hours to go from red to yellow and it can take a week to go from yellow to gone. It makes the red dye clear through chemical reaction.

The best thing that I have found is an aerosol spray from the makers of WD-40 called Spot Shot. It actually removed green permanent marker from my beige carpet!

there is chemicals out there that can remove red stains but you may have, unknowingly, set the red stain. just a little info: most of the reds that are in some of the drinks that we drink are the same
dyes the use to color cloth. heat and at certain times chemicals
set theses dyes as well as agitation of the fibers. though i always hate to admit defeat to a questioner/asker it may be time to throw in the towel and call a pro. see if he/she can guarantee to remove
the stain, if not, no pay. wish you luck.

Here is a site that I would highly recommend. They have very high quality stain removal techniques. I would suggest repeating the process after the first application, and rinsing the rug out with cool water in between applications. Best of luck!
