I dunno about websites to get discounted dresses but stores - try Ross, Marshalls, Nordstroms Rack - all those discount stores. I was amazed to see clothes in there that I had seen at department stores for way less!
PS- It might be a good time to get the after-christmas/new years discounts at your fav department store website!
Good luck!!

Depends on what you call inexpensive. Overstock.com has some great stuff, but finding your size can be tough. For a better size selection, and something really gorgeous (serious designer gear) at a fraction of retail try Bluefly.com

Thrift stores often have clothes from department stores that had more than they could sell, for pennies on the dollar.
