You should hold your crab at the back of the shell. This makes it harder for him to reach you. As you hold your crabs more often they should start to accept you and not try to pinch. Of course there is always the honery one who just will continue to pinch no matter what.

You can't really train a crab. Keep your fingers away from their claws or wear gloves.

Be gentle and try to keep your hand still when holding it. If you cannot get it out of it's shell try coaxing it out with some food. Peanut butter works wonders.
