We use the word "hate" as commonly as other words but we should never hate each other.
In TV shows the use the word "hate" not dislike or extremely dislike as we should.
Am I the only one who wants people to change their ways toward how we look at others?

So you stopped saying the word hate?? I guess you only dislike the terrorists who attacked our country. If you were robbed and beaten, would you only dislike the thug who did that to you? There are times when the word hate is appropriate. Do you disapprove of gang violence? Or do you hate gang violence? I hate it when I'm driving and hit all the red traffic lights. I hate it when people go slow in the fast lane. I hate my steak when it is overcooked. The word hate can be used in many different contexts other than what you have mentioned.
Wanting to ban certain words steps on one of our greatest liberties.....freedom of speech.

I definitely support your views about that.
Now, the thing is not using the word doesn't wipe off the notion it covers. That's what political correctness has been trying to do for a number of years without much of a success, I'm afraid.
So, what to do next, if suppressing the word hate does not suppress hatred?

We can come up with another word that we can substitute....
Afterall we changed GODDAMITALL to "Gosh Darn It"....
So we change Hate to hmmmmmmm HEAT
or we can use the word DISLIKE, DETEST, ABHOR
Words have power (A rule in Magic by the way)
But it is the intent behind those words that lend it the greatest power of all.......
