I have a Windows XP Home, and I was wondering if my computer really tracks it if I visit porn. If it does, how do I remove history/stop this tracking/ prevent it?

Honestly, the .dat files embedded in your computer track and store practically EVERYTHING you do. (This is how the police find all that stuff on criminal's computers.) You can easily erase your surfing "history", but you have to understand DOS to gain access to the material stored in your .dat files.

You need a good history/cookie cleaner to erase all the cookies and the history from IE. CCleaner is about the best free one out there. When you open it up, just make sure that all the choices for IE are checked (Cookies, History, Recently typed URLs, etc) under the "Windows" tab on the left side of the program's window. Run the cleaner and you should be all set. Here's the link:

One note, be careful cruising those sites, as that can be a good way to pick up spyware. You'd be better off using Firefox for that and any other browsing ...sinner.

Yes it's tracked. In IE > Tools > Internet Options >

Clear History and set the number of days kept to low.
Delete Temporary internet files also and click the setting button to reduce the amount of those stored.

You may also need to clear your address bar

I have two words for you: video tape

Don't every do, say or type ANYTHING on the computer that you don't want a permanent record of.

There are lots of levels of sophistication in reviewing the records of what your computer has done. If you don't ever want anyone to know what you are doing - DON'T DO IT ON THE COMPUTER.

And you shouldn't be visiting porn anyway, ya perv.
