It matters what the 7 yr old chararistics are for example if you are the 7 yr olds parent and your child is lonely a puppy or cat would be perfect. If the 7 yr old is not yours then you may want to get it a toy. If the child likes dinasours and animals then get it a robopet: robopets are quite fun robotic machines that learn they are expensive although they are fun and last awhile. It all matters on the childs likes and dislikes.

My nephew is that age and he digs hockey and soccer gear.If the 7 yr old in question participates in sports,or shows interest in a particular few-why not sign him up for a session? If he is a nephew or family friend, I'm sure the parents will be appreciative and its a practical and healthy minded gift.

Try finding a video game that he is into, a set of books or mabye a lego set. Hope this helps.

remote controll cars, action figures that can move at all joints, any type of nerfball gun or something that shoots. stay away from video games that young. buy something that provokes the imagination
